Welcome to my Academic Development Blog
In September of 2013 I graduated from the Arts University at Bournemouth with a Master’s degree (M.A.) in graphic design / digital media. I majored in website prototyping and interface design. Within this topic we find portions of user experience design (UX/UCD), information architecture (IA), visual communication, layout, design management and the knowledge of industry tool sets. The content in this development portfolio displays some of the challenges and strategies I had during the very last stretch of my main subject. The total curriculum consisted of five different subjects in all.
There’s a lot to consider when engaging in the practicalities and science of design, I find most things in the industry of visual communication to be volatile so I like to hold an open mind on any issues I find in my research. My goal is to keep challenging myself with new material, hoping this will lead me to a broader understanding of the topics at hand.
